What a wonderful day.
Let’s see here…
I was woke up at 20 minutes till 6. I got up, got dressed.. done all the other normal morning stuff and drove James to work.
Got gas
Got coffee
Drove 40 minutes to the nearest Target. Well, let me tell you. the lines were to the back of the effin store. So I left. I drove all the way back to this side of town and went to the outlet mall here… No good sales. So where did I end up on the busiest shopping day of the year?
WALMART.
Oh blessed Walmart. Supplier of all things needed. Great god of everything. I thinkWalmart owns the United States. I mean really. There is no competition really. Where else am I going to go at 2am that I can get everything and anything you can possibly think of? Target? I think not. They are pricier than Walmart and there aren’t as many around, at least not the 24 hour stores. So thats my conclusion. Walmart pays the president.
So anyway I just spent way too much. I wont specify HOW much. But lets just say, the president has a decent salary.
So as if my day wasn’t great enough. I was pulled over today and got a ticket. In the process of this James was arrested. YAY! He had a warrant out for an unpaid ticket a long time ago (so did I but we will get to that in a minute) … go figure. So he wasn’t in jail more than 30 minutes. He has a cousin on the police department so he was released on his own recognizance. Isn’t it good to have family? He has to go to court in February but no biggie, we just have to save up some cash.
As far as my warrant, I got a ticket a long time ago when I first moved here. I went to court, it was handled. So I have no clue why I have a warrant, so I have to go figure that out Monday. I wasn’t arrested because the jail in the city where I was given the ticket was full but I was ‘advised’ to turn myself in and have it taken care of as soon as possible. Well it just isn’t possible today. =)
